My Sourdough journey began when I decided to learn how to make sourdough bread for my grand daughters who have sensitive stomachs. I had heard so many good things about sourdough being great for the gut and being easy to digest so I decided to try it. Nothing else had worked for them. And of course they loved it and it didn't hurt their tummies and they could eat as much of it as they wanted. Thus began my sourdough journey which led to wanting to learn how to cook with discard. So I started a facebook group where everyone could share discard recipes. Then that led to wanting to write a cookbook and start this blog. So here we are!! I am so happy that you are here!
